Boat Ramp Access

 

Community boat ramps are found at the end of Patuxent (on Greenbank) and on East Greenbank, where Tred Avon Road would end if it made it to the water.

Boat keys are available to OBIA Members. Price is as follows:

  • Jan - Mar = $30

  • Apr - Jun = $40

  • Jul - Sep = $50

  • Anyone new (moved in 2026) to the neighborhood can purchase the key for $30

Rules and Regulations for Launching Ramps

  1. Boat ramp key is to be used by purchasers or family members in the same Oliver Beach Household.  Loaning your key to anyone outside of your household is prohibited.

  2. Usage of boat ramps is only permitted from dawn to dusk.

  3. No parking of vehicles or trailers on the boat ramp property. Violators are subject to towing.

  4. The boat ramp gate is to be closed and locked after each use.

  5. Be considerate of adjacent property owners by keeping noise to a minimum.

  6. Please do not leave your bait in the trash cans located on the boat ramps.

    Violations of the above-stated rules will result in the termination of launching ramp privileges and surrendering the ramp key without a refund.
